Audit Manager
CA Harsh Raj is a Chartered Accountant with professional experience in audit, accounting, financial reporting and related compliance matters. He is currently serving as an Audit Manager in the firm, where he is involved in planning and execution of audit assignments, review of financial information, evaluation of internal controls and assessment of compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
His professional and technical exposure includes auditing and assurance procedures, review of accounting systems and processes, financial statement analysis, internal controls and risk assessment. He has completed specialised training in Hands-on Audit & Excel, covering control and substantive testing procedures and audit working paper documentation. He has also completed ITT and Orientation Training conducted as part of his professional development.
His areas of expertise include audit planning and execution, substantive and control testing, review of accounting records, financial and ratio analysis, compliance review and financial reporting. He has a conceptual understanding of Accounting Standards and Indian Accounting Standards, the Companies Act, 2013, CARO reporting requirements and applicable auditing standards. He also possesses working knowledge of MS Office applications, Tally and basic concepts relating to direct taxation and statutory compliance.
As Audit Manager, he is involved in supervising and coordinating audit assignments, reviewing audit documentation and working papers, evaluating financial and operational processes, identifying control and compliance gaps, and assisting in ensuring that audit assignments are conducted in accordance with applicable professional standards and regulatory requirements.
He has demonstrated leadership and team-working abilities through his involvement in organising professional and academic events. He has also been associated with CA Students' national-level conferences at EICASA and has participated in public speaking and debate activities.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His academic background also includes CA Intermediate and CA Foundation, along with his school education in the Science stream. He has completed professional training in audit, Excel, ITT and Orientation, strengthening his practical understanding of audit processes, documentation and financial analysis.
